Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward spot on the right and contributed with dirty work. Demonstrated flashes of quality but dragged a shot high. Withdrawn late on for Rogers, his competition, after receiving a caution. 7/10

The winger Was presented with England’s top opening before halftime, his strike excellently kept out by Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate hanging back, he had to offer an outlet out wide although his balls from wide areas were inconsistent. Taken off with 15 to go. 6

The captain The match-winner with his two more goals at international level. The opener a classic close-range tap-in and the second a classy header following a clever run away from the opposition. At 32, he continues to improve and the side stand a real opportunity next summer with him up top. Eight
