The club confirmed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Basque side in the Spanish league 30 months since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside under the licence granted. When completed, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

Stadium Testing

Barcelona held a public practice inside the stadium in early November. Officials stated they are seeking authorization by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht next month at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
